Title: Wheel Building - How much to pay ?

as it says on the tin, whats the going rate (Bike shop price),

been quoted £20 per wheel, is that expensive?



don't have the patience to do it myself, unless your a dab hand and you live in Essex and i'll drop em round with a case of beers?  8)

I thought I was paying too much at £20 for a pair of wheels  >:D   
I've a set of 7X I need sorting, but don't think I'll haggle this time now I know how much some get charged.  :)  G.

£20 for a pair Unless you buy all the bits from them; Then free.

follow Stidds guide,took me fookin ages to get them right ,but i was proud as when i finished.i can get the dings
 out now as well without paying someone to do it.

£20.00 per wheel sounds good if you're getting DT Swiss stainless spokes  :daumenhoch: .

I pay £50 per pair for building with the above spokes .

20 quid is building only, I have the DT SPokes already......

do it yourself man, follow Stidds's guide.

or get Stidds on the case, he charges two packs of tropical fruit bubbalicous and some skittles.

if you have all the bits, go for it yourself, it's great, very relaxing.

Actually I charge £10 a rim (not including spokes/nipples) or various sexual favours  ;)
