hi all i bought some ukai,s the other day off a lad on here with suntour sealed hubs, and they arrived this morning so i got all excited and put the tyres on then when i treid to put the drop savers on the spindles so i can put it on my pk ripper looptail they dont fit on ?????? front and back, do i need some bigger drop out savers or do i need some new spindles ? ???

You possible need to file the drop out savers a bit or maybe need bigger,lmk if you wanna sell them :daumenhoch: if you do decide or have to buy bigger ones ;)

i dont think they would be owt left on the drop outs i,m gutted as they look the dogs nuts on the bike if i could get them on >:( but yes they will getting sold if they dont go on

Get some pics up of the akles close to the drop out savers - there is no reason why they should not fit !

i,ve made them have it they on the bike, i wanted them on the bike if it killed me i bought 2 sets of wheels the ukai,s in gold then the black arayas of meticus, so i,m selling the araya,s as i think the ukai,s look the business. i knocked all the soaps of the head tonight to file them drop out savers. i feel better now ;)

Did the Suntour axles not have flat sides ?( narrower , therefore being too fat to easily slot into your Landing gears ::)

yes they did have a flat side but its the drop savers did not fit on the suntour spindles but they do now, i,m waiting for the tuff neck headstem to come back and i can put it all back together :daumenhoch:

yes b and q £150 for slate tiles i did 4 years its where well :daumenhoch:

Hi, only just seen this post and see you now have your wheels fitted so a bit late. I just wanted to point out that the hubs you have are fitted with 10mm spindles, slightly bigger than 3/8" that your frame savers possibly are hence the reason for filing.
