I just read this about something that someone has "designed". This isnt meant to be a dig at any one bike company, but why when everyone gets their bikes made at the same place, do they all try to say they came up with the ideas/designs :crazy2:
Anyone seen this before ???

I had a sample hub at my place not so long ago, and a (company owner) friend popped by and was like 'that's my hub, I designed that' and then I kid you not, the very next day another (company owner) friend popped by and said exactly the same thing. Funny stuff.

Its all really sad. When someone does have a good idea and thinks of something new its really hard to keep it for themselves. As soon as its on the market everyone else will copy it. Now there are a load of companies pretending to be bringing out new products when they are just buying them from a big book. I guess at least they design their own stickers and pick out their own frame colours, cos thats the main reason anyone buys one frame over another now. :idiot2:

I still don't understand why they don't serrate the dropouts and supply a corresponding serrated washer. You'd have to hit that hellishly hard to move that setup..
