Title: First bit of air in over 20 years....just about
Post by: jon foz on June 28, 2009, 10:39 PM: Finally got out into delamere forest today with one of my mates,after finding some small jumps I thought it was about time to have a go :daumenhoch:

first attempt was a total wipeout :uglystupid2: with me on the floor,camera strap around my throat ;D was all good though,after that it didnt feel too bad.....these mountain bikes are totally different though eh :P

I know what you mean with the helmet,everybody else was using one....I actually felt like the odd one out :laugh:

just need to get out more and build up the confidence.......................or should that be stupidity :idiot2:

I went up there a couple of years ago with some of us on BMX and some on MTB, we found a bit of a downhill race track, which was great, until the mass pile up at the end.
We also seen some kids on jump bikes, going over 6 foot high mud ramps, and doing 360's over them, no fear at all. We were all stunned.
I have some photos of that day, I will post them later.

The pics from the side, and I have to say, the grey hair threw me.
Anyways mate, I will stop digging that big hole I have dug there, and move on to the pic I have of Delamere.
