Well it's taken me quite a few years to finally get around to building this. The main holdup was the tires. I finally scored these from DaveC on Vintage. NOS Comp Stadiums. In red they are impossible to find.
Thanks to Roberto down here in OZ for the Candy red powder on my Original Redline Proline bars from BITD. Outstanding job!
Stickers are from Bill via Waza. Cheers
And yes the forks are Johnny Chopper repros. I am currently looking for another real set. I have a set on my Supergoose. Jeff Watson was the reason for that too. I might change out the red grips otherwise it's done.
R.I.P Jeff.
Thanks.

Stumpy
-
he was a brave man riding like that with just a coaster
-
Thanks guys.
Funny thing is my first Skatepark bike in 81 was a goose with red coaster braked Tuff II's. He had a huge influence on me.
Oh and I still have this bike too.

I got this photo from Glen Friedman.
It's hanging in my shop.
I'm pretty sure it's Jeff... can anyone confirm that?
I didn't know he had died. Much respect.

I really can't tell from that pic. It looks like a Looptail goose. Jeff rode a 1st gen goose then moved onto a Proline both with Bottema forks. On the Proline he used red Tuff 1's and had flight cranks. On the earlier goose he had 1 piece cranks and black Tuff 1's/red z rims and also a yellow coaster braked z rim. I know on his Proline he used a MCS stem but can't say what is on his Mongoose. He always rode with a Moo's bike shop T-shirt and had a red Protec helmet.
After the Proline he dissappeared. Never to be seen in a magazine again.

Great bike, love the early freestyle scene......RAD!

Did he switch between riding goofy and regular?
How did he pass away?

He must have! Two shots of him above show him with both feet in front.. No idea.
I am unsure of how he passed away or if in fact he has! The info I got was from his neice. No one has been able to find him though.
