Title: Skyway TA History lesson

Can some please give a brief description on the changes of teh TA i.e. rear brake bracket, and also what format is teh serila number in under the bottom bracket. How do you tell what year it was made ?

hi buddy,the year of manufacture is identifed by the 3 letter code under the bb i.e 2-84 is feb 1984 etc.underneath this there will be a 7 digit code (mine is 0008818).not sure what all that means but maybe the number made.as for the brake bridge i asked the same question the other day and got some good info.think the thread is on page two now of tec and resto.maybe have a gander yourself and see if it helps.would have posted a picture but have no idea how to.hope this helps
