Title: What would you do with this for a project?? Update with photos...
Post by: JT1970 on July 15, 2009, 12:06 PM: Hi all having posted two pics in the new member section. the general consensus is my latest purchase has no real identity, i found her on ebay and took a punt, so no one will be fooled by making a replica of something. My question then is what would you make of her???
I like the frame forks and bars but the rest is open to change...

Ok so now with white tuff II
White Nippon MX freestyle brakes
Haro Fusion Pedals
White chain
White Grips
Type 77 levers.

Just needs longer front brake Cable..in white of course.

Now just using as a cruiser.

Post by: oberonspacefruit on July 15, 2009, 01:32 PM: your white tuffs, power disc and sugino chainring, shimano sx pedals, amber wall tyres, and some white ame grips. Suntour clamp, appropriately coloured cable. sell the other stuff on the bay to fund some of your parts.

all still available, and relatively cheap, without going into big money.

and those barefeet tyres are a great all round, skinwall, old/mid school tyre at only £14 a pair.

Post by: JT71 on July 15, 2009, 03:47 PM: how about a couple of odyssey system 2000 calipers, bin the elevers, cos set comes as one universal brake but the levers all left hand anyways, then get some nice Tech 77 levers with locking buttons. mint!
