Title: Changing wheels on 06 Sport
Post by: Robbo on July 23, 2009, 05:40 PM
My daily rider is this Haro Sport which I'm about to order some Odyssey tan walls for, I've been thinking about changing the wheels back to the original silver Alex wheels for a more retro look or going for a set of bling Alex Supra E's which are available on egay for only £45.

I'm not sure about the size of the rims, verdict please.....

Keep the black wheels with the skinwall tyres.

Sweet.

Chrome everyday of the week and twice on Sunday for me guys, never liked black rims!

If you can't get the Oddy tyres why not go for some Primo V Mosters same as mine, very similar tyres to be fair.

I've got the 2.1 Odysseys on the way, I did fancy the 1.85's to give it the retro look but I'm sure the 2.1s will look ok.

Can see me ordering the chrome wheels after the weekend..... 8)

Went into the garage this morning and the front is flat! :2gunsfiring_v1:

Didnt use tyre irons to fit the tyres and the tube was new so not sure what happened there?

What was the rim tape like on the wheel mate?  I've had new wheels where I've had to double the rim tape as the
Nipple heads used to pinch the tubes when pumped up hard

Thought it was ok, think I will get some more.....I've not even ridden it yet which is annoying.

Fitted new rubber on the Colony at the same time and I'm running higher pressure in that and there ok.  ???
