Just bought a set of Shimano DX pedals for a 3 piece and when they have arrived they don't have a stamp anywhere on them apart from the shimano in the centre, and i'm just wondering if these are actually DX's?
I know I sold a set not so long ago for a 1 piece and they had some lettering etc stamped on them but these have nothing, can anybody shed some light? :-\

well another way to tell if they're DX's is the legendary shape that is still being used today and that on the endcap it says Shimano DX

There is no end caps on them, but they are the right shape and look correct

I haven't a clue on DX's
Post some piccys dale!! And get some close-ups of the spindle and other bits!!
Some RADster will be able to confirm!! :daumenhoch:

I dont remember dx's having anything stamped on them, other than the shimano cast onto the pedal body, and the "DX" logo on the end cap.

sx's were a bit smaller i think.
but you should be able to tell straight away if there dx's.
i think the only other thing stamped on them other than the shimano was the date codes.

I reckon they must be right then as they look correct and are the same as oberonspacefruit described just without any caps.
I'll get some pics up tonight just to confirm but I think I just got confused :idiot2:

Dale,
these are my spare DX's mate, no other stamps apart from Shimano and L+R. ( Left-Right)
