Title: Is this bent or okay???
Post by: GavinKent on July 24, 2009, 04:42 PM: Just received my Mongoose Californian F&F in the post. The forks don't look straight - the top part isn't exatly in line with the bottom. Do you think they may be bent, and if they are, can I still use em?

They look correct to me. They all have a fair old rake on 'em.

Post by: jimmyp on July 24, 2009, 06:09 PM: Yeah that looks ok, maybe slightly bent but only by 1mm. Alot of the mongoose stuff is different so i woul'dt worry about it. Ive got forks that are straight in line and some that have a slight bend in em like yours, its just the way mongoose made em :daumenhoch:
