Title: The one that started it all..for me anyway!
Post by: Dansharos on July 29, 2009, 12:54 PM
This is the bike I has as a kid, a Blue '85 Sport.  This is the second time I built this bike and it has not gotten any easier :/  This is the bike that began this interesting journey for me some years ago.  To make a long story short a kid down the street had a Green '85 Master and I wanted one so bad!  I begged my parents for weeks to let me spend some of my savings to get one.  So finally they said ok, so off to the bike shop we went.  I only had $350 to spend so the Master was out of the question and I ended up with this (not this specific bike).

A factory correct '85 Sport is one of the hardest haro builds to pull off, in my opinion.  The parts are hard to nearly impossible to find these days.  Enjoy!

Some of the highlights:
NOS Peregrine Master Wheels
NOS Panaracer Tires
NOS 44T Super Duralumin Chainring
NOS Anlun Powerdisc
NOS Victor VP300 Pedals
NOS Dia Compe FS880 Brakeset
NOS Viscount Dominator
NOS Sugino One Piece Cranks
Mint Chrome Haro Bars
Mint Anlun Stem
