Just tried some real os chunk Carlise Aggressor tyres on regualr Ukai Speedline rims. Tyres were about 2cm too big. Size on the side says 20 x 1 3/4 , not the usual 1.75. Knew that when I bought them, should have realised really from having a few mini bikes. I'm guessing then its some imperial / metric (?) fractional / decimal standardisation thing, like skinny tyres being 1 1/8 or 3/8 and them being a bit bigger in circumference than 1.75's etc.
So what bmx rims are they for? Saying Schwinn on link below
Anyone know much about this stuff? Stidds........?
Here's some info....

no.

rim size doesnt define wheel diameter, its the rolling dia of the tyre, thats why 1 3/8th rims are actually bigger than normal rims...
