Title: luke at gosport
Post by: spesh on July 30, 2009, 02:37 PM: took luke to gosport track todaywhich is only 15 min drive away
and usually he just rides over a few small jumps but today he did the whole track without me telling him
he then did another 10 laps.................well done son :daumenhoch:
looks like il have to get him a proper mini race bike now ::)

Nobody seems too impressed here in Oz. I have not pushed him into riding,he just enjoys it. What age are kids riding on there own in the UK ?

Post by: dialledbikes on August 19, 2009, 12:43 PM: My eldest learned to ride 2 weeks after his 4th birthday and did his first race about 2 or 3 months later. Lost interest a bit when he started school and just races occasionally now in 8 Expert.

My youngest learned at 4 and a half but I doubt she will be racing for a couple of years. Might enter her in a novice or club race next year if she fancies it but at the moment she's saying she doesn't wanna race.
