Enter him in the Novices group at this Sunday's Regional there.  He'll either love it or hate it.  If he loves it then get him a mini.  Humps

Hi Dave, how old is your son ? took my sons training wheels of Monday night and by Thursday morning he was on the local track,he is four on the 22nd of this month. Nobody seems too impressed here in Oz. I have not pushed him into riding,he just enjoys it. What age are kids riding on there own in the UK ?

My eldest learned to ride 2 weeks after his 4th birthday and did his first race about 2 or 3 months later.  Lost interest a bit when he started school and just races occasionally now in 8 Expert.

My youngest learned at 4 and a half but I doubt she will be racing for a couple of years.  Might enter her in a novice or club race next year if she fancies it but at the moment she's saying she doesn't wanna race.
