Just back from hols in the lakes went over to Whitehaven track and took these. I met a guy at the Seascale bmx park from whitehaven said he had been up there recently the start gate was still thereso he fixed it up and got it working only to be nicked the following week. Its overgrown and chewed up by motorcycles.
I know Moley posted a piece in the Whitehaven News about the track but no signs of any work

I went to Whitehaven ages ago to see what was happening with the new track but apart from a container and a couple of fields with a footpath between them, I couldn't find any sign of a BMX Track.
I thought I was in the right place due to post codes and addresses etc in the newspaper article.
Is the old track anywhere near where the new track is supposed to be built?
Well at least you found a BMX Track. Pin point the track on Google maps and put the link up, I might pop in for a spin the next time I'm in the area.
Thats if its rideable and not totally rutted up by the MX'ers.
What did you think of the Pump Track?
