Title: Travel help needed : BMX Shops in the UK
Post by: KDFKID on August 04, 2009, 06:38 AM
Hi All,

I'm travelling to the UK next month from Australia and wanted to check out some UK BMX shops. What's cool and where should I go ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I know to Australians the UK is like a small island where everywhere is easily accessible, but where in the UK are you coming to?

In terms of recommendations:

RADBmx shop has to be up there  ;)

I'd also recommend Crucial in Bristol as well. Don't know too many others though.

Cheers Mate. I'm mainly touring down in Southern England. Only going as far north as Leicester.

my local bike shop, Ride in Coventry, small but perfectly formed.

they are a road bike, BMX and skate board shop, they specialise in all 3 and have Vision baseball boot style sneakers for £15.

You need to go to Exeter in Devon, the Boarding house http://www.theboardinghouse.eu/ (http://www.theboardinghouse.eu/) been selling BMX and Skateboards since the beginning of time, I can remember clearly 3 days before xmas in 1984, my Dad said, come on then lets finish off your bike (a curtis expert). We went in there and I got a blue tuf neck stem blue mx1000, a blue headset skirt, ames, and new tyres.... Oh happy days.

Tim and Gav in there will sort you out with whatever you need.
