Title: FREESTYLE SWEEPS THE N.E
Post by: DIRTBIKER250F on August 05, 2009, 05:11 PM: A few of you radsters know about my build for a mate who rode back in the day, for those of you who dont i built a GT Performer for a great mate who has always wanted one, even back in 84.
Well after a deal with Swivel i saw a frame n forks come my way as profit on a Haro, so i decided after i found out he would be a first time dad at 36 to build him it as a sort of tribute to our 20+ year freindship. Some good mates on here sorted me some parts out f.o.c and other bits i traded with bits i was not using, anyway i took the bike up to him last night and considering Mark is quite a wealthy guy with Slk's and 09 BMW conv, he was i quote " looking forward to getting the bike more than anything he has ever bought/recieved before". When he saw the Gt, (me and him have fought at footie matches together, had each others backs in Nightclub situations and he is one tough cookie) he was like a 14 year old at xmas and the whole build was easliy worth doing just to see him pull a 180 with role out at his second attempt even though he aint been on a bmx in 20+ years. Totaly Rad Mark, and chuffed you liked it so much :daumenhoch:

Yeah he is in Seaton Bren, used to ride the youthie in the early eighties with Sid and Hutchy :daumenhoch:
