yum yum :smitten:
-
cant see them beeing cheap  look nice but not for me.
they would be good for old school race legal rides though
-
They say they were as much, if not MORE work than making a current frame, although I guess the tubing wasnt as costly. Id expect to see a "New School" frame price tag. I also reckon they wont make them again cos it was a bit of a nightmare to set up. Could be the only chance to get one?

do you know how many they've done alex?

They werent going to make that many. Plus, Id guess only a few will be bought into the UK (depending on how well 4Down think they will sell). Its posible that non even get as far as 4Down cos there are alot of shops in the US!

In those pics you can see the "2-stuck-together" rear drop outs. Just like in 1990 :daumenhoch:

This `ll no doubt spark some debate as to the oldschool race legality!

Don't S&M need to make some gen1 rednecks to go with the Holmes frame?
-
Hey guys
We'll be doing all this stuff in the RADBMX Shop!
Wooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
-
I need to get some of those stickers for the Holmes I just sent off for powder.
How are these repros/vintage frames distinguishable from the originals?
-
Man this sucks I am having to sell off my bikes to help my Mom and something choice comes up like this. I want TEN!!!! sweet bikes as always. all I can say is Thanks for making these Chris

The rules down South (before old school racing went pop!) were no repros, so these "new" S&M frames wouldn't be allowed. Fair enough I suppose.
Personally, I think it would have been cooler if S&M had brought back a proper updated version of the Holmes which was more of a rider than a collectable. Can't see many serious riders buying these to use a quill stem and a caliper brake.

cool, i need those pads! :daumenhoch:
-
I need a set of S&M pads as well. Any idea when they will be in Stock Dave?
