Post by: sid1972 on August 10, 2009, 05:42 PM
messing today, I never was totally on board with the last seat post. Also fitted Jam Buttie seat clamp to go with the Double Deckar Jam Buttie, anti tweak flex fighter - (what a name!)

I like straight posts on race bikes and just the odd freestyle bike for a layback. I think Trick Stars and Performers need laybacks and haro's 85 onwards too. Just my tastes, do as you please! ;)

Thanks guys... sometimes u cannot see the wood for the trees.

I am liking the blue straight post, and thinking about the blue chainring, I do think that would look better.

Keep it straight - does anyone actually like laybacks.... personally i think there is nothing more likely to ruin a bike that a bent post.

I've got a Chrome straight Odyssey post I don't need used to a showbike so a few marks that would be covered once fitted again.
