Title: Mongoose / Supergoose differences?
Post by: Nosnod on March 04, 2006, 12:48 PM
Right guys I have a late 81 gussetted goose (serial no starting K1).
How do you tell the difference between a normal Mongoose (& Motomag) frame and a Team or Supergoose
I know that the supergoose are all cro-mo and the Mongoose are only 3 main tubes cro-mo but do they have different rear dropouts or brake bridges etc.?
Will try and get some pics later

Could be wrong but didn't the high end models have a slotted rear brake bridge or something

Cheers

I might be talking complete crap..but i think the chain stays on a super
are different, they have indentations were the tyre goes through.

the tubing is different on all cro mo.

the word 'Supergoose' or 'Pro Class' on the down tubes is often a good clue
