Title: VECTOR MARK 2 FINISHED new pic,s sun out yeahhhhh
Post by: neiljonarcus on August 15, 2009, 09:18 AM: i have wanted one of these for years. i was going to do a secret build but fook it . hear it is . i am going to add my little touches , mad black paint ,red cables, polished brakes, black seat, black grips 1 peice crank, black pedals, black zd,s,. there is just some thing about the double down tube and the rear drop outs that realy catch my attention . thanks colin for the frame i love it mate

i asked matt about that when i was bidding on it. the ltd editions have so on the frames and they come in black chrome.

....mr del"cals is allready on the case and i think i have found some bars :)

Post by: neiljonarcus on August 21, 2009, 04:32 PM: frame has now been stripped of decals and paint . then painted in 2 pak polurathane and air dryed for 48hrs so i could get
the highest gloss level .the reason to leave it to air dry is the slower it cures the higher the gloss finish. now for its 2nd and 3rd coat of magic silver and lacquer . hear are a couple of pics in just its 1st coat
2nd and 3rd should be getting done next week some time

del if this paint works what i am getting on monday and all the parts turn up then yes i would love to have it done before i get married

as the light hit the frame at diffrent angle,s you can see colour change from jet black to mid chrome-
high chrome
in real life its amazing to look at ask "moanjam" :LolLolLolLol:

i will let you into my little secret of how i do it .......................... i build a bike "trying to do it better than the last " . then i sell it of which some people at the start though i was in it for the money but belive me i have lost alot . some bike or parts i have made a little bit . so i can fund my next build . i try hard to do things that people carnt do just like the harry leary paint which took alot of my time up . I LOVE OLD SCHOOL BMX it is my pashion in life . and trust me on this one it breaks my heart to sell some of my builds " haro gen 3 master / harry leary turbo / eric rupe mongoose/ pro class mongoose and i hope i can hang onto this vector for mk 2010

Neil , I have just the frameset you require ..................................................... a KHS DUSTER 300 :LolLolLolLol: now nobody has done one of them ( wonders why ::) ) Jongoose had it at MK ( not sure if you saw it ??? ) and stripped some bits of it , then i got it to make another rider for the youngest :D It's a heavy gauge re-inforced steel frame but it has cro-mo forks :LolLolLolLol: :D If any one can make it decent , your the man ;)

Starting bids around the £200 mark because of the workmanship in the frame ( :-[ ) and obviously the rarerity/sought after value of this iconic frameset ;)
