nice dan :smitten:
can i have it for christmas?
:LolLolLolLol:
does it have the rpm meter on the end of the pierced toptube?
-
so nice, but never understood why the frame had an RRP of £499 back when it was released
-
all standard frames that were ox platinum tubing then were 480, or 490 for the bullitt, the chromoly versions were 360 until they were fazed out and the price was dropped. The bullitt was only ever ox platinum.
With regard to this particular build i can't say as though i'm a fan, i love dan, but this goes against the ethos of the frame. 'For the refined rider' so should be dialled in my opinion.
-
yep it has the rev counter on the rear of top tube ...natty little decal.
it was going to be kinda raw built phil with just a rear and 2 pegs,i didnt have all the parts i wanted so for now this will do.
later it will get built like ricks had it...i just have 2 more serious builds that need more attention....plus you hate all my builds phil if we are being honest :LolLolLolLol: but i luv you anyway
-
Saw this on bookface Dan, nice looking ride.
You bringing this to London this year?
-
i am bringing something else, frames being made so hope it is ready.
-
Nice :daumenhoch: was the cable guide on the d/t the welders idea of a little joke, or it that a prototype frame?
-
frames been modified!
gen 1 bullitts have the brake lugs on the chainstays, gen 2 on the seatstays as chainrings started getting smaller
-
yep as phil said its been modded ,i wasnt that happy but finding one was hard enough in the first place
its the only one ive ever seen forsale tbh...
-
Ahhh, I see, did the gen 2 have a euro b/b as well?
-
Nice Dan. :daumenhoch:
-
yes phils has the euro bb ,i was offered to send it back to sbc to get it sorted back to its original state.
i wouldnt have been able to get the stickers again, which kinda swung it to leave as is..i could get them moved to chain stay here
and re painted myself but would have to get stickers and they are rare..
-
I think it looks fine as it is :daumenhoch: maybe lose the cable guide from the d/t & leave it as it is.
-
how about getting a new (fly??) removable cable guide and tapping it into the underside of the toptube?? that's not beyond you is it now daniel..... would make a big diff
-
good thinking batman..might give it a wizz
-
i know this sounds really gay! but dan can you do me a favour? change the title to read bullitt, instead of buillet! its gnawing at my wigwam!
-
strange that phil,i had that as the title and first post i spelt it the other way ,must have had another stupid moment.
had a ride today man it feels the goonards...i want a new one now.
-
Love it!
