someone gave me a full "18 bike the other week, i was thinking along the lines of picking up an "18 dirtbike frame and swapping all the bits over to it for my nipper,
but i'd forgotten that the s&m weighed that much!  6lb!!!  for a kids frame!!

maybe i should have a re-think,

The frame on my littluns 16" Monggoose weighs more than that  :shocked:

Strip the 18 inch and weigh the frame, Probably more than 6lb. There is not many light weight 18 inch frames around. Think Hoffman do a PL18 frame. Mirraco do there ally bike.
My son has a Kink kicker and I got it down to about the same weight as my 20, Which is just under 25lb.
