Title: Top loading stems, what would you recommend?
Post by: fugazi on September 09, 2009, 03:09 PM: Hi guys, now my back seems on the mend I'm looking at getting some riding done & looking at a top loading stem to bring my bars up a bit, not too many cut outs & gyro tabs would be good, any recommendations?

Post by: fugazi on September 09, 2009, 08:45 PM: Cheers dudes :daumenhoch: I've got 8 1/4" rise bars on there now & have thought about something taller, don't want shedloads of spacers under the stem as it looks gash, good idea turning the stem up the other way, I've had to do that in the past, problem is the gyro tabs.

Shadow stems always used to come with a nice heavy duty gyro top plate that locked into the stem. Had mine a good while now and it's never let me down.

Post by: wirewheel on September 25, 2009, 12:44 PM: shadow attack toploader comes with a cnc gyro plate or the brand new shadow strike toploader is a bit lighter but not with a gyro plate. the new superstar toploader is pretty dope too.
