Title: Rear drop outs Knurled finish 85 Haro Master

Anyone got any tips on restoring the knurled finish on the Rear drop out's of an 85 Haro Master ????????

Any help appreciated

Hi, I'm  a newbie and just read your post. I'm restoring an 85 Haro to full factory spec. When you say restore what do you mean ? Was there any knurling to begin with ? Yours could be a rare early 85 master like mine ? For the first coupla months they were made with smooth dropouts. Check your serial number....it should say eg 048556 etc the first 2 digits are the month of production, 85 for the year .
