Title: what diamondback is this?

got this frame with a bike off ebay, it had alot of bike parts from the 80's and 90's, no idea what the frame is though, its pretty messed up

serial reads: ACS6E02848

I believe it to be from 1996 but thats just a guess from 'S6'

If anyone could enlighten me that'd be fab!

did a bit of research, its a 96 viper, anyone want it for the cost of postage? haha
