As above would they dye black?

I vaguely remember someone dying a set of blue oakleys black on here a while back - can't remember who :-\
Try a search :)
I guess it will depend on the material the grip is made from / how much dye / how long left in the dye / how hot the mixture is kept etc. as to how good the results will be ???
You not tried trading them first ?

yeah i thought i read a dying guide on here regarding grips too struggling to find it on the search, they're softish rubber so i'm gonna try it when i get the grips and dye

black should cover most primary colours, although black over blue would work better..........
