try a smaller chainring,if your using a 44 it will be hard to pedal :)
-
If it has a 16 tooth sprocket on the back , then you need a 36 on the front . What 24 is it .
-
its only 41 teeth

put some slighty higher and wider bars on it they seem to ride alot better then
i got 28 x8.25 on my sunday cruiser rides great

41/17 is a hard gearing . you need an 18t on the back to match the 41 . that will make things easier for you :daumenhoch:

41/18 or 39/17
get the rear wheel as far forward in the dropouts as you can (you may need a half link or full half link chain to get it just so)
set your bars at the same height as your 20"
Have fun :daumenhoch:
:) DINGO :)
