Title: plenty of staying power...
Post by: Peanut on September 23, 2009, 09:45 AM
..naff all stopping power

Just set up my winter ride and the u990's aren't doing anything, plenty of play at the lever yet nothing happens at the brake end. It could be the levers, they're odyssey 2000s but I'm  sure they used to work, or maybe the cable run is too long/tight. I'm running the front through a potts mod, does that make a difference?

and make sure you spray loads of WD40 down the outer cable as the inner will bind at the turn on the forks......WD40 makes it nice and slippy  :daumenhoch:
