:) Those frames were sold under several names,Meteorlite & Falcon being the most common.Generally the Falcon frames don`t have a coaster anchor and usually a welded on seatclamp.Variations are fork standers in different places or a plate behind the seatpost. They were also sold under the Minerva brand and also under the Rainbow Racing brand by Rainbow Cycles in Wood Green,N.London (who also did them in chrome)

id say leave as is if your going to sell, let the new owner enjoy the resto :daumenhoch:

I don't think they are backwwards 'C's... looks more like the serial stampers '0' was not aligned properly.
When I was in printing we had a numbering machine for consecutively numbering invoices and delivery notes.. if the stamp head wasn't set up properly you ended up with a similar effect.
-
Bloody hell neil how did you find that thread???
-
looks similar but that aussie one looks like its got that plate(with the raised bumps) behind the seatpost tube like the meteorlite, your doesn't have that

dave you could be right as when it had paint on it looked like the number or letter "0 . o " so who knows .... but mark "sparky he thinks it could be made by akisu as they use that marking "c" ........ :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: this is driving me crazy
