Has anyone used a U Brake Adapter Plate, so you can use u brakes on an old school bike???
-
Yeah, they were very popular through the 90s, mostly on the front of bikes as not many had AD lugs at the time.
They work well, no real problems :)

Cheers mate. Any idea where l could get hold of one??

try Billy's at www.billys.co.uk, give them a call as they don't always have everything listed on the site otherwise it's eGay :daumenhoch:

One thing, don't be tempted to fit it underneath the seatstays unless you secure the plate to the stays with jubilee clips or monster zip ties, there's a good chance it'll mangle the bridge on your frame if you don't..

Thanks for the help chaps :)
