Title: takagi 3pc crank dates needed ??????
Post by: moanjam on September 30, 2009, 08:41 PM: steve is flogging these but don't know the date for them , if anyone knows when they were first about give us a shout as i'm after something '77 ish and i think these look around this date :daumenhoch:

Suntour VX 3 piece Cranks first came out in 1979 and were on the Kuwahara KE-1.

Other than that like you say Ashtabula 1 piece cranks were around in 1977.

what model shimano were around '77 ish ? :daumenhoch:

Can be a little pricey to pick up as the vintage road boys like them.
I used to have a set of 81 Shimano 600s, very similar to Dura Ace, mounted on my GT below.
