Newbie with, well, a Newbie question.
Ride a DK General Lee everyday to work but would like to change the tyres for something a little more tarmac friendly than the dirt tyres on it already.
Any suggestions that aren't going to cost the earth? (20x1.95)
Thanks in advance.
Neil.

:) If it`s sensible priced and and durable, try Asda for some of the Bell branded Cheng Shins.. :daumenhoch:

Cheers Glen,
think I'll go with a pair of FIT FAF's :)
Also found a pair of Kenda Karrumba tyres for sale. These any good or should I stay well away?

I am a massive fan of FIT but I gotta tell you this, I fitted a set of kevlar FAF's before a little road trip in the summer, at the end of a few days riding concrete the rear was worn out and tyres usally last me ages, I was disapointed.
Odyssey Path steel bead or good old Primo V-monster are great on a budget, tenner each if you look hard enough.

I'm in agreement with you on the Fit FAF's, Liam wore out a rear in about three weeks... :(
His KHE's lasted way longer!

Front: Odyssey Path 2.1
Rear: ABikeCo ASM 2.1
Sweet set up :daumenhoch:

I'm running the odyssey tan-wall paths, and they seem pretty good at taking on the rough tarmac without disappearing.

Cheers lads.
I'll go down that route then.
