Post by: beard1973 on October 05, 2009, 11:19 AM: If I had a pound for everytime I have heard this line when racing this past 2 years then this bike would have paid for itself...

"You of all people should be racing a Burner!"

Well... I have taken the controversial step backwards in TT Length and this Winter Series I will be racing a 1984 Raleigh Team Aero Pro Burner. I don't think for one moment I am going to be able to match the success of Craig Schofield who won the 1985 World Championships on an Aero Pro but I am gonna do my bit and fly the Raleigh Flag... :cool:

I have had the bike for some time and it was going to be built up as a 'Show Bike' to factory spec... but the racing bug has bitten me hard and the thought of taking part riding a bike brand that I love and continually support was too much to resist... so here she is...

I know the TWIN PINCH's aint era correct but the rest is alot more Old Skool than the Amtrac....

Race Kit is VERY close to being finished. just chatting it over with Mark (spike) at the moment. :daumenhoch:
