Title: Big Ups to Sam (meticus) - Scorpion

Hey guys,

Just had Sam (meticus) do the paint job on my Scorpion so thought I would share a few pics.. to be honest the pics don't do the paintwork justice. Fantastic Paint job, so thanks again Sam  :daumenhoch:  :4_17_5:
I tidyed up the dropouts, did the decals and restored/painted the damaged headbadge myself.
I know the Scorpion was never a particularly good frameset/bike but it was the first BMX I saw as a kid and just screams "Old School" at me!!!  ... love it!!

These are deffo the stamped Tange Forks that came with it  :daumenhoch:

tbh nelly, i wanted to put another coat of laquar on, just to get that bit better, but john was pleased as punch, i always find a second coat about 15 mins after the first coat just takes it to another level....

 the forks are stamped tange in the head tube...

The forks are Tange but they aren't Tange TX-1200 Champions that were on the Scorpion they are Tange TX-500's.

Doesn't matter though as Scorpions rock and that looks lovely.
