love stuff like this...
get it dipped in some oxyalic acid and polish the living sh*t out of it...might look more authentic with its battle scars, in its original form...then build it using good used stuff?
or go for the full bling resto..
either way, it'll be a stunner, with the added that its actually your own bike from bitd
:daumenhoch:
-
leave it as a sweet survivor, full resto on the f&f is gonna be £200 - £300 and its never gonna look the same, especially as its your ride from bitd
-
same as whats been said. read up on here about oxalic acid and polish it up.
your one of the lucky lucky ones who still has their pride and joy
good on ya son.

I agree with all of the above comments, keep it as og as possible, would make a cracking survivor, as a last resort rechrome the sucka!
Mt original Patterson that i have has since new (83) was neglected after i found women and cars, travelled over to your side of the pond for a few years and gave it to a mate to baby sit, years later i found it neglected, a chrome was all i could do, but its as good as new now..........try and keep og with a polish all will be good :coolsmiley:

OA was not good for this puppy :( gave it a try and did not come up to scratch, so it was a rechrome, better than new now ;)
