the over looking parts look a bit like the mountbatten @ portsmouth,but then it looks to big??

i havent been there for years & years though so could be totally wrong...and probably am!!

holeshot contest London ,  can't remember wot yr although i'm pretty sure it was the first contest they had ?

  2nd + 5th picture is terry jenkins not long after he signed for haro

Thanks, yeah we said that was Terry Jenkins and figured from that , it might be 85.

Any idea on the Venue???

Great pics, I thought 85 untill I saw the rickman ramps.

I think Holeshot 84 was about the first UK national freestyle comp other than KOS's and bmx beat.
Andy I remember your foot plant clearly it was mental for the time.

also looks like the Gorden Craig leisure centre in Stevenage.....as i know they did a few comps and demos there in the early to mid 80s  :daumenhoch:

Nahh its deffo The Sobell Sentre and the first Holeshot - have you got a higher res picture of the 5th shot down - or anything larger. I'm in the crowd centre left somewhere! Well done my Dad for taking me and my mate Justin.
