Title: Frame ID
Post by: Goldie_THFC on October 19, 2009, 04:26 PM
Hi all, just found an old bmx frame of mine at my dads and wandered if anyone could identify the make for me. Its a chrome frame in survivor condition with id no M4CD6262. I'll upload pics later on if it helps.

Hmmmm..........

Looks a bit GrandPrix-ish but all the GP's I have seen have a triangular hole in the dropouts - and the way the rear stays meet the seat tube is different too.

Interesting one this, is that a machined head tube or is there still a top race and a bottom cup of sorts in there?  Where abouts is the serial number?  Any markings on the dropouts at all? Can you remember roughly what year you got it?

The brake bridge and rear stays/seat tube/top tube don't very goosey to me, will have a look through my mags to see if I can spot anything similar  :daumenhoch:.
