Just look at the pandora in red, its the same frame but without the twin top tube.

-
All in stock NOW!
Just 3 left...so be quick.
xxx
-
If only i had that kinda cash on a frame :-\
-
Just seen the weight.... 5lb 7oz  You would never get off the ground with a frame that heavy ;)
-
Blimey didnt realise twas that heavy ??? Oh well who cares when it looks thats nice 8)
-
Yours is here Ross - the Red looks RAD!!
-
A pivitol post weighs 3 - 6 oz, a seatclamp 1oz...so it's not bad as they are included in the frame.
Just weighed them here, it's the 21" that is 5lbs 7oz.

Cheers Fella's, easy to find fat capital seats but not that particular fat capital if that makes sense.
-
I really like the red one !!!!
If only it had gyro tabs, C/S lugs and a proper seatpost I might buy one... what a shame maybe next year after they hear all us O/S moan for a while :LolLolLolLol:

Before I mounted my seat I thought about that, the screw thread for the seat goes in quite a way so not sure what you would find after chopping off the mount... ???

LOL, you'll have to catch me first! :-*
Cant see me venturing out tomorrow unless the weather clears up, I dont mind it being damp but riding in the pouring rain and heavy winds is not happening.
PM me your mobile and I'll text you in the morning. ;)
Anyway back on subject, anybody else got a DTT yet?

Yeah, but big enough for a seatpost? ;) Probably best left alone. Cheers both.
-
Stodgy asked Subrosa ages ago about this and they said it would be ok for normal seatpost, just need to cut of pivotal and make a small vertical slit and hey presto. :daumenhoch:
Steve.
-
Cool, thanks :daumenhoch:
Damn, that's another frame to add to the wishlist ::)
-
Got a Mail from RS
"The version that is out right now doesn't have gyro tabs on it.
We are doing another version in the Spring and it will have removable gyro tabs on it.
Ryan Sher"

-
thats lush ross
-
Very nice mate, surely were not the only rad members with these bikes....?
-
What happened to the original design with PROPER twin top tubes not them 2 small tubes welded together ending at the seat tube.
WTF is that, its neither here nor there is it really......pointless! They wet our whistle with the prototype...and then release a completely different design?!
Sorry Ross, don't mean to piss on ya bbq mate i know you love it. ;) Apart from the daft top tubes it looks spot on bro.
Sean.
-
Sean - have you gone mental mate? ;)
They are two seperate tubes...it's just the angle of Ross's pic.
-
Oh right i see Dave, still dont look as good as the proto though IMHO. That had a real twin top tube design like a gen 1. :-\
Horses for courses i spose. :daumenhoch: If its a BMX its all good in my book, just a little disapointed that they changed the design.
-
It is the same as the original pics we posted up Sean...they just look really sleek when built.
:daumenhoch:
BTW - We have one DTT left in 20.5" White... it's going to be a special price in the sale! Give me a shout if anyone fancies one!
Cheers
Dave
-
Ross and his moody photography then, we will blame him Dave. ;D
Sean.
-
Guilty as charged. :LolLolLolLol:
-
Yeh mate, i like it in case i forgot to mention that amongst the rant!
Cranks looking mad nice! :daumenhoch:
-
Has anyone cut the seatpost yet ???
Steve :daumenhoch:

Has anyone cut the seatpost yet ???
There's one with a seatpost fitted on the BMX museum site . . . http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/subrosa/32632 (http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/subrosa/32632). Reckon they look much better with the standard pivotal though. I've just ordered a red one ;D ;D ;D . . . can't wait!
-
the new subrosa laydback pivotal post would look good :smitten:
-
Sorry but that thing on the museum looks bloody awful.
-
Sorry but that thing on the museum looks bloody awful.
I'll second that, I think the bars kill it the most. ???
-
where?? link? ???
-
http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/subrosa/32632
-
I like the bars but it'd do itself a massive favour with 6" off the seatpost - still if you're gonna chop off the pivotal may as well run a flagpole ::) . Mine will be staying :yahoo_silent:
-
yep that does look all wrong!? :-\
-
I think it looks wrong because the seatpost is too high and the Forklifter bars don't do it any favours, also I feel lookin at them built up that the top tubes seem too close together, someone do a nice level photo of theres from the back please.
Cheers,
Steve. :daumenhoch:
-
they are much closer together than an old Haro or Torker.
-
Mine's just arrived along with a load of new (budget, for now) parts to build it up :D .
Yeah, toptubes are pretty close together. Love it to bits :smitten: . Oooooh, it's gonna be a good birthday ;D

-
Very nice dude, have fun building!!!
-
Cheers - I will do :daumenhoch: - looking good so far.
-
Cheers - I will do :daumenhoch: - looking good so far.
Are you cutting the pivotal clamp off yours dude?
-
Thanks for posting the pics mate, You should get a job with Subrosa your pics are much better than theres :LolLolLolLol:.
Looks really nice in Red and with the balck & white parts should look really nice :daumenhoch:
Cheers,
Steve.
-
Cheers! :daumenhoch:
The pivotal will stay for the time being - does feel weird though with the seat that low even though I'm only short . . . we'll see.
31.12: Quick update. All done and looking good . . . brakeless at the mo' as my new brake appears to have a faulty linear spring :( . Picked up a bargain Evolver anyway (£15 red/blue and £25 black - check out this link - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx'modelID=45364 (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx'modelID=45364))
I'll start a new thread once it's properly finished.
