Title: 2 x amateur builds
Post by: Goldie_THFC on October 22, 2009, 04:11 PM
Was into BMX'ing as a kid and don't know what happened to all of my bikes - my dad probaly skipped them!! then I happened to stumble accross this site one day and the bug started. I've been messing with a couple of builds the past few months and just wondered what everyone thought of them, their nothing too special but i'm happy with them, they might not be to everyones taste so be gentle!!

I think they both look cool mate  :daumenhoch:

If you are not going to ride them though, most people would advise gumwalls for the peugeot, lower the seat post and pull the bars back, but if you are riding it - ignore all of that cos it's probably all necessary if you are quite tall ;D

Nice paint job on both frames they look mint  8)

Don't look amateur to me, I'd be more than happy to own them :daumenhoch:

I'd maybe put blue gumwalls or snakebellies on the Pug and the white tyres on the Skyway but at the end of the day it's how you like them that really matters :)

Cool them builds, the blue and white on the Peugeot looks really crisp and clean...pull the bars back though and lose the snakepost and your a winner  ;)

Thanks for all the advice & comments, bars have been pulled back on the peugeot now!! On the streetstyler I was going to change the tyres for either red or white panaracer free style ones and i'm after a nos or mint layback if anyone has one for sale - cash waiting :daumenhoch:

Cheers
Jim

Good work there  :daumenhoch: , cool to see the ally hub tuffs on the Skyway and not the new/easy route ones  ;) .

Some panaracers would look cool on the skyway , also ever thought about doing the Peugeot as a race build ( think there was a small uk race team bitd  :-\ so you could maybe replicate lightly ) ? .

We're all amateurs too  ;)

Think Kendo had some red panaracers in "for sale" - cheap too

I've been there and back again with my red/white themed Torker. Have decided on White with a gum wall which'll have to be Pana's for me. I just think it's too much Red otherwise. Nice chain tensioners BTW  ;)

I've got a pair of Red Panaracer's (as good as new with a bit of hot soapy water) or a pair of White Oddy barefeet (NOS). PM me if ur interested.
