Is there a how to guide on here on how to set up MX 901's just want to make sure I'm doing it 100% right.
-
just dont do the front and back bolt up too tight and play around with the lever so both side calipers move :daumenhoch:
-
Thanks, whats the recommended distance between brake block and rim?
-
Not much mate a few mil either side will be fine :daumenhoch:

I am sure I remember seeing written on the packaging of some brake blocks, they said to use the card packaging as spacing while you clamp the cable nut.
I guess that would have been around 2mm.
-
makes sence that shaun.be easier than trying to gauge it too
-
Do as the above (card spacers), but I also use a 'luggage fabric type ratchet strap' to lock them into postion close to the rim (put the strap around both blocks, through the rim and over the tyre)..
This then free's up both hands to tension the cable and tighten the nuts, if u know what I mean.
Was always a pain in arse before someone showed me this method.
