they are mid/late 80's Taiwan made, mostly come in 1/2"
what year is your TS?
if it's a US one get some proper beartraps................ ;) they're cheap you know ::)
-
as matt says hang out for some hutch beatraps, i got a nice used set tonight for £100 and a lush nos set earlier this year for £300 you just gotta keep looking
-
stodgys old 85 ts i just bought it hasnt arrived yet think its a tai one
i have some late 80s early 90s unstamped profiles for it so i need 9/16th.
im going to ride it for a while then build it as a show bike with repro hutch aero speeds and pedals. anybody bought a repro set yet?
-
stodgys is really a minter, i think if you ride it then want it as a show bike you end up repainting it

i bought some repro Hutch Beartraps from JDB when the exchange rate was still 2:1 ;) Yeah they're pretty good quality, but not as nice as my original pair 8)
what about Stodgy's Hutch Pedals..., they were a good price :)

I used my Candy Red US Made TS as a rider Pete, it now needs a re-paint, or possibly Show Chrome? :-\

jdb are nice, pity the spindles keep splitting

thats ok im only goig to use her as a summer whip and a shop trip. nothing to heavy. plus i think when i fund all the more expensive parts i will probably change its colour. if your spending a grand or so on a bike a trip to sbd is always worth the money

Going back to what Pete said , the pukka ones can be bought & resto'ed for reasonable money .
I got these with crupi cages & the OG cages spare ( both pretty knarled up ) for approx £ 125.00 . Spent some time on them cleaning them thoroughly then Autosol with a toothbrush , added some JDB cages I'd had since 2007 and I'm well happy with them considering the chrome & bearings are all original .
