Title: Chrome & Welding Help Needed

HI All

New to the forum so hope this questions has been asked too many time before!

I have a mongoose frame needing some minor welding (brazing technique I believe) and then re chrome, as i'm helping my lad do resto

Do you have any ideas/ any one could recommend  I live near Bagshot Surrey

One of the best chromers that you will have to send the frame off to if you want 10/10 finish is Doug Taylors in Weston-Super Mare. excellent finishes :smitten:

I had my gen 1 freestyler chromed at doug taylors, felt like throwing it in the bin when i got it back,I was absolutly gutted,I did ring and tell them and they did have another go at it but to me it still wasnt right you can see machine marks where the polishing hasnt been done to a fine enough grade and around the bottom bracket they polished so hard it has reshaped the metal, GUTTED :-[
