I'm not really bothered about it but noticed the "Blue Max" section in the museum that MADD DOGG started got deleted - is this because we are keeping them with the geese ? I originally had mine in with the geese but noticed Kev had added his and so I joined in as there's obviously a couple knocking about between a few of us on the site.
As I say not too bothered really but just a question.................
With there being a few "mongoose offshoots" such as:
Roger DeCoster
Jag
Blue Max
Racer X
Mototrac
etc.
Do we need to have a "BMX Products Inc." section for all other mongoose related bikes that aren't actually badged as a "mongoose" or should they all just go in together with the geese ? ???
:)

I looked at it when it first went up and thought 'they've always been with the geese' but hey ho there's no reason thay shouyldn't have there own topic. Somebody else didn't, it was my first thought anyway so i'm not going to lose any sleep.

Yeah cool - like I say I had mine in with the geese and was surprised to see a blue max section pop up !
But maybe one section for all the "offshoot BMX products inc. bikes" :-\
I mean technically a DeCoster is a Schwinn  :LolLolLolLol:

Boba, you are right that the museum needs to be updated. We do work on deleting the dead pictures, deleting replys and amalgalmating the topics. Last year i put about 4/5 hours into sorting the museum out and a few months later it's back in the same state. This stuff is pain staking and it takes a lot of time.
It's like tidying the kids bedrooms :daumenhoch:

Yep all mis-behaved children who don't follow the rules :LolLolLolLol:

no man, i mean it's really like tidying my kids bedrooms. A lot of time for little thanks.

You get them looking good and 2 days later they're how they were, you have kids?
-
Yep - just the one - and I know EXACTLY what you mean ;) :LolLolLolLol:

Good, then you can sympathize.
We don't have the Knowledge to do the stuff you keep asking about, we're laymen.
What we do do is keep this site running at a steady pace and we do it for free.

Fair enough.

As Bob says keeping the Museum section on an even keel is a long painstaking thankless task that all the Mods undertake on a regular basis. I am in there a few times a week going through the threads deleting, merging and generally housekeeping the place. It takes bloody ages to do it each time also.
We have to merge threads into others, if we didn't it would be chaos. Not sure about the Blue Max thread, as I didn't see it but what you tend to get is someone builds for example a Supergoose and then starts an new thread title 'Supergoose 2', this happens regularly and it becomes messy and tiresome.

I can appreciate that ;)
Is it not possible to lock the board so that you can post new messages in an existing topic but cannot make new topics without requesting it from a mod ? Should tighten things up a bit and stop false topics being created :-\
