I've Just let it all go :P
-
good work philipe!
-
:wtf: is that it
i thought you had a new bmx, not just a new push bike
-
Very nice Phil, very nice. I love the 90s gusset, nice touch. Glad that its got solid dropouts too (remember that doily thread we had? lol). And best of all, a Front brake. Classic Standard, like it/you should be!
See you at Epic on Sunday morning? :daumenhoch:
-
looking forward to seeing this built up Phil, you sooooo need that front brake!
(he can't make Epic Al, I did ask him)
-
got more parts today.
though i'm a little worried, i'm going fully new school on this build. new school has one chancce to impress me or i'm sticking with what i know. got some khe tires, for 'less rotational weight'. i'm cool with that but i've also been bullied into a set of plastic pedals, there i've said it! i'm not proud of it but i'm going to trial them.
-
you can always try them phil ,beats listening to opinions so try yourself them bin them if there junk.
i run the tyres and are ok ,very lite .they do tear up a bit and go pop sometimes..but 7/10 aint bad
-
phil if i make the effort to come to creation on a thursday are you gonna show up ?
-
Yeah just give me prior warning that your definately going and I'll pop along
-
though i'm a little worried, i'm going fully new school on this build.
I give the seat and pedals 1 or 2 sessions, tops. Still, no harm in trying something new, good on ya. :daumenhoch:
As long as you keep both brakes. There is NOTHING new school about 2 brakes! :D
Oh, and remember to do a few laps of a car park on the tires before you ride any ramps. Kelvalr tires all seem to have a coating of Wax on them when they are new
-
Phil I found those plastic pedals to be okay, grippy enough but they went noisy too quick, might just need greasing, but it clunked a bit
when rotating so i binned em off.
-
:daumenhoch: Look forward to see it in the flesh.
-
Phil that is really nice! Reaaaally nice!
Here is something weird... Im currently in the process of having a custom S&M frame done..... and itll be in raw finish......
and the wheels im building are chorme Primo rims on chrome hubs with silver spokes - just like yours - whats the chances of that?!
Cant wait to see your bike built !
steve

Well as the old saying goes, 'you can't buy style'. Good job it comes to us two naturally!
