 :) 90s I think.Had a set myself but the rear axle seemed a bit on the short side.

I've got a couple of sets of them. They are awesome hubs.

They came out in the mid-90s.  Shimano had a range of DX hubs, v-brake and brake lever, all in red and black colour scheme.
