Title: Project 'Pink/White Goose !! **** FINISHED ! ****

I have decided to build my youngest daughter (Olivia) a PINK and WHITE old school mongoose for xmas as a surprise . She has wanted one for a while now , when I was stripping my last two mongoose cali's down she was always in the garage helping and always came out with the same lines , " Is this one for me ?" ,"I want a goose" and " Can you build me one please" :) She is always asking questions on how things work and even fixed her first puncture herself the other day with a bit of guidance from Dad :D

It got me thinking, there I am totally addicted to messing with kids bikes and I have'nt even built one specifically for my daughter. :( So this is going to be an on going thread showing the resto from start to finish . The finish line being Xmas morning with hopefully one happy daughter :)

I have the majority of the parts , mainly odds and sods that have been lying around the garage. I am just unsure on the wheels ( might have to pinch my Skyways off the GT :D) Oh and I need some PINK tyres, Haro or Panaracer would be good if any of you have any spare ;)

Hopefully some PINK tyres ::) and a nice custom padset when Steve is a bit better.

I was given the brakes by Torker Tony as an early xmas pressie for Olivia :shocked: Tony , your a true gent mate and both Olivia and myself really appreciate your kind gesture . Top man :4_17_5: It's not the first time Tony has helped me out and he really is a great lad. Hope you ( well the good lady) enjoyed the vino mate ;)

A big thanks to ED209 aswell who gave us some free 'rider' tyres :daumenhoch:
also John (bobafett) for your photoshop skills in the planning etc ;)

I have a couple of RADsters working on some personalised bits and pieces , you know who you are and your help is greatly appreciated :daumenhoch:

Yeah , the boss is very understanding ;) :LolLolLolLol:

It's actually in an old house we are doing up but I am not working too hard on it as when it's done I will loose my spraybooth :(

PM'd you some detailed info mate ;) Basically rough the chrome up and use a decent etch primer , I wish I had powdered it now as it's more durable but time was a factor :-\

What colour is the pink and is it out of a rattle can?? like that youve got your daughter spraying young, im a chick and its a very male dominated spraying world!!! :)

Cheers Spen , I really enjoyed doing this for Olivia and seeing her out and about on it now is very rewarding :daumenhoch: All her friends are very jealous and all ask if I can do them one :D Even some of her friends Dads who obviously had BMX's BITD had some great words to say about it .

It won't be long before your little one is ripping about on the ripper and the Mini class , there not a bad pair to be introduced to the BMX scene on :shocked: :4_17_5:

As for riding it at MK ............. don't reckon Olivia would let me take it :D I could picture it now though two middle aged men on Pink BMX's, Bobafett on minifett's Pink goose and me on this ...................... doesn't look good ::) Hopefully I will have a Rider/racer sorted for MK this year ................. Novice group only though ;)
