hi peeps.... iv`e been buying bits off ebay for the last six months or so, and spent hundreds and cant believe how many people struggle to describe there stuff properly! :idiot2: :idiot2: :idiot2:
like only been fitted to a show bike, was nos and so on...... supposedly meant to be in nice condition when really there only good for the scrap heap........ i really hate having to leave bad feedback, but im so frustrated its untrue......... sorry cant name peeps, but they need to sort it out!

anyway on the other side, received some nice brakes today of toys19.... top geezer! thanks :daumenhoch:
-
when i got back into bmx a few years ago " nos " stuff didn't seem be as available as used stuff , now it seems everything for sale is " nos " :idiot2: :wtf:
-
the one that makes me laugh is "used" ..isnt everything!! :LolLolLolLol:
-
i've recieved so much 'NOS' or 'only been fitted to a show pony' stuff, that clearly isnt....
as if i will not be able to tell the differance....
most stuff i live with as long as its in very good condition, but if i consider it beyond my expectations i want my money back...
-
i would say look at the photo's and ask questions before jumping in :yahoo_silent:
-
i would buy mint , as some nos stuff although not fitted , is marked to fook , just cause it says nos still ask if its marked :daumenhoch:
-

i would never knowingly buy a painted headset, anodised yes....
i can candy paint an headset myself, but as soon as you press in all the paint pulls away as the paint cannot key very well to chrome...... :'(

i no what your saying mate, but you cant always tell on the photo`s and if they look ok, and if the description says really nice condition, thats what you would normally expect
not looking like the item has been dragged down a street...... >:( :LolLolLolLol:
-
ask for more photo's,trouble is mate some people of scared of "losing" the part that they want they rush in,buy it,then moan about it afterwards-i know i've done it myself :-[

iv`e sold loads of stuff as well recently, and listed it as NOS and may have some storage marks, even though it didnt, just to cover myself really..... the buyer must of thought i was shot it when they received there bits, but at least no one could say i miss described.... rant over...... :LolLolLolLol:

same here, its not just ebay buyers who have trouble trying to find accurate descriptions.
all the forums have the scammers who think we don't see thru them.

:LolLolLolLol: everyone knows it mean "nice old sausage" baffles me wtf it has to do with bmx
-
The good thing about Paypal is you can always get a refund and send the stuff back :-X
-
Never had a problem...bought cool kit off here always as described and the bay and always turns up minty :daumenhoch:
If someone sends you shit return to sender......

Loads of ebayers think 'Old School' can apply to a 90s bike ( or parts ) so I've seen - as they think OLD SCHOOL is worth more.
To me pre 1990 is old school and thats that :daumenhoch:
-
but will old school be pre 2000 in ten years time? does it move on with age? i think old school is more like before 1985-86 and should stick there....
-
jurassic school will be pre 86 :LolLolLolLol:

If an item has been modifiedand not original ,it should be stated
i.e If you were selling some blue tuffs that were yellow ones painted blue ,, I'd expect the ad to state this and not just expect me to realise this from your advert's photograph
If the ad doesn't state this then , obviously the seller is leaving a misleading description and trying to make item more desirable than it is
Jumping in to get an item ,,yes
Trusting the sellers description,, yes ( Radbmx community )
Recieving an item which has purposely had issues witheld ,,, out of order

i personally think old school is anything over a certain age, i love my mk1 and mk 2 escorts and things like that, so most of them bein 25 - 30 years plus! thats old school to me........ bit like bmx, so in 25 years time, im sure a bmx brought today will be classed as old school :2funny:
