i've recieved so much 'NOS'  or 'only been fitted to a show pony' stuff, that clearly isnt....

as if i will not be able to tell the differance....

most stuff i live with as long as its in very good condition, but if i consider it beyond my expectations i want my money back...

i no what your saying mate, but you cant always tell on the photo`s and if they look ok, and if the description says really nice condition, thats what you would normally expect
not looking like the item has been dragged down a street......  >:( :LolLolLolLol:

same here, its not just ebay buyers who have trouble trying to find accurate descriptions.
all the forums have the scammers who think we don't see thru them.

Loads of ebayers think 'Old School' can apply to a 90s bike ( or parts ) so I've seen - as they think OLD SCHOOL is worth more.

To me pre 1990 is old school and thats that  :daumenhoch:

but will old school be pre 2000 in ten years time?  does it move on with age?  i think old school is more like before 1985-86 and should stick there....

If an item has been modifiedand not original ,it should be stated

i.e If you were selling some blue tuffs that were yellow ones painted blue ,, I'd expect the ad to state this and not just expect me to realise this from your advert's photograph

If the ad doesn't state this then , obviously the seller is leaving a misleading  description and trying to make item  more desirable than it is

Jumping in to get an item ,,yes
Trusting the sellers description,, yes  ( Radbmx community )
Recieving an item which has purposely had issues witheld ,,, out of order

i personally think old school is anything over a certain age, i love my mk1 and mk 2 escorts and things like that, so most of them bein 25 - 30 years plus! thats old school to me........ bit like bmx, so in 25 years time, im sure a bmx brought today will be classed as old school :2funny:
