Title: A'me Unitrons
Post by: aerostylie on November 21, 2009, 12:28 PM
Are they sought after? Just seen a for sale thread on another matter but some some remarks were made about someone having a 'stash of unitrons'.

These were the first grips I got when back into BMX about 4 years ago, tenner from Alans BMX. Like an idiot though, I binned the box even though it was in decent nick...doh :idiot2:

Never thought much of them but still have them so just curious....don't plan on selling em as they were the 'first' item purchased.

Darren Wood was sponsored by AME and has a box load of them in his loft from bitd, that's probably where you heard it.  Good grips though all the same  :daumenhoch:

I use them for racing as they're very strong on the ends so can put up with a lot of abuse.

I was just cleaning out an old box of rubbish I had and found a pair at the bottom.

I've got a pair same colours as yours, a few months back a pair went for just over £50 on ebay. Surprised me a bit, that's the most I've seen them go for.
