Maybe this is a difference between the UK and US bikes? I remember Sandy Finkleman RIP, stating on OS-BMX that the Araya 1.50 rim was his idea and was OEM on Leary Turbo's and who would argue with his knowledge? I have also seen a couple of builds with the 1.50 rim.

Post by: scary_leary on March 19, 2006, 08:37 AM: yeah Sean but they are rare..The 1.5 was made for the turbo lite and sandy asked araya to make them for the MKII turbo/F1 (quite rare to find this size)
but they are known as an araya 7N.
the large gusset turbos and most of the later ones have 20.1.75
