anybody dyed a set? looking to dye a set from blue to black? Will the screen printing on the padset stay the same not get dyed along with the Nylon? what's the best dye to use? ie. Dylon etc? Any advice greatfully recieved Daz......... :daumenhoch:

I've tried and it didn't work:
- No the nylon fabric wouldn't take the dye fully
- yes the screen print did take up some of the dye

I had the exact same results as Diesel. Tried to dye a green padset black - ended up with a darker green padset.

I did these a couple of years back for my daughter's bike and they turned out really well :daumenhoch:

Do nylon seats take the dye though? Aren't kashi's and Elina's nylon? And Tuffs? Is there any procedure not followed with the pads that was done with seats etc and then may work?

I have never tried, but reckon it's a no go!
I think the lettering will turn black also. It looks like it will work if you are to dye the pads with a lighter colour than the lettering and only those with bold dark solid lettering.
Lets us all know if you find a solution that works.
